Requirements
We recommend an age of 5 years and over, as well as completing a preparatory course to get used to water.
Course description:
In this course, children aged 5 and over are introduced to the element of water in a playful and gentle way.
The aim is to prepare the children for their first official swimming badge – the “Seahorse”.
The children first learn the basic breaststroke technique, so that by the end of the course they can swim a distance of about 25 meters. They also practice diving in shoulder-deep water – this involves retrieving an object from the bottom.
With joy, patience and lots of praise, we accompany the children on their way to their first swimming success.
At the end of the course, if you successfully complete it, you will receive the coveted Seahorse badge!
Practical examination performance
Jump from the edge of the pool followed by a 25 m swim in a prone or supine position
(When lying on your stomach, you can see exhaling into the water)
Retrieving an object from shoulder-deep water
